What Energy Healing Can Do For You Today!
You may consider receiving an energy healing session if you want to focus on healing or improving any emotional, mental or physical issue that is surfacing in your life right now. The session itself typically lasts about 30-60 minutes depending on what your specific needs are. You remain fully dressed as you lay down on a comfortable massage table in a dimly lit room with soft relaxing music playing. Your practitioner (that’s me) begins to connect with you energetically and assess the areas in your body and energy field that need attention. This is accomplished through a process called body scanning as well as tapping into any intuitive guidance that may be received to determine how the session will unfold. All you need to do is relax, unwind and let the soft vibrations bring you peace and balance. You may feel some light tingling or heat as the energy moves through your energy field and begins to shift you back into alignment by balancing and unblocking any areas of “stuck” energy. Stuck or blocked energy can be the result of various issues including, but not limited to, unprocessed emotions, conflicts and past traumas. These events that occurred in our life that have not yet been processed, store in our physical bodies and in our cellular memory. It is only through the processing of these emotions either consciously, sub-consciously or energetically that we can release the destructive patterns and be free of their impact.
There are many other benefits to an energy healing session and the list goes on and on, but to name a few:

There really is no area that energy healing cannot address and bring some relief. It is a wonderful supplement to any other treatment you may be receiving and is used in many hospitals and care facilities all over the world.
Over the next few days following your treatment, you may experience an emotional detox, a processing of sorts where you will release whatever you were holding on to that was not serving your highest good. You will be asked to drink a lot of water to flush out any toxins that have been released. Subsequent sessions are recommended to continue to see long term results. NAVIGATING YOUR OWN GPS
MAKING THE HOLIDAYS COUNT!
The impending holidays can be a catalyst for emotions that have not been resolved to bubble to the surface. Instead of reacting and letting these feelings bring you down, you can choose to view this experience as an opportunity to heal anything from the past that is unresolved. Perhaps you are still holding anger towards your mother or resentment towards your father because of long ago events that were never healed. Perhaps, the nostalgia of the holidays brings up areas of contrast where you are comparing your current situation to those of the past. Either way, it is important for you to recognize that when these emotions are present to not stuff them back down again. By acknowledging and honoring how you feel, it gives you a chance to begin the healing process. Maybe just having awareness of the origin of these feelings is all it takes to move through. Maybe you need to have a conversation with a loved one to clear the air. Maybe you just need to forgive yourself and all others involved. Forgiveness is not forgiving the act of what you perceive someone did to you, but forgiving the person. Forgiveness will set you free because it’s not about letting the other person “off the hook” as much as it is about doing it for yourself to get well and move forward.
You can chose to be present with the feelings that surface around this time of the year and for once decide to take action, or you can stay on that merry-go-round that perpetuates the same behavior year after year. During the holidays, we tend to have a heightened sense about ourselves and how we relate to others and this presents an opportunity to heal, initiate change and re-write the rules. Let go of old hurts, forgive yourself and others and process your feelings so you can find yourself in a place of neutrality and love.
Shifting Perspectives
Some days you just wake up and the world can seem a dismal place and you can feel like life is moving against you or like you're walking through water making little progress. It's times like this where I pull out all the stops and take action to get myself back on track and shift my perspective to that which is alignment with myself and divine creator. I make a conscious effort to raise my vibration and find that happy place again. 1. Step one - stop feeling sorry for myself and realize this is my ego surfacing trying to get my attention and surround me with fear.
2. Listen to a positive guided meditation to center myself to get back in touch with my true self. Maybe take a hot sea salt bath to draw out toxic emotions.
3. Initiate shifting of perspective. Acknowledge that these thoughts that have caused me distress and not real, but only a product of my ego (fear based thoughts). If I choose to shift my perspective to that of higher consciousness and align with source, I can reach the place of peace and contentment that I know is the only "real" stuff anyway.
4. Get outside and commune with nature (I'll be heading to White Rock Lake later today).
5. Find some like-minded people to help lift me up or get some energy work done to rebalance my system.
My point is that you can take action and initiate a game plan to shift these feelings and elevate your emotions to higher perspectives. As I'm writing this, I have now created my to do list for today!
